A new resource from the FL DD Council, FYI Transition is a new website designed principally for families – parents and students – to teach them about transition and employment. While it is still a work in progress, there are links to stories about students and their jobs and information on transition planning. It also has a discussion board and the availability of on-line courses.

Long Description Grafton�s ABA program focuses on antecedent and reinforcement-based strategies to improve skill acquisition in the areas of communication, social interactions, motor control, daily living activities and play. We work with clients and their families in home, school, clinic and community settings to target skill acquisition such as language, self-care and social skills; in addition to reducing challenging behaviors that are a barrier to individual safety and/or well-being and success.Once clients learn in a structured teaching setting, the focus is placed on incorporating the skills into everyday life. The ability to apply learned skills to various environments, settings and situations such as school, home and the community is imperative, and the end goal of Grafton�s ABA program.

Grafton emphasizes a person-centered approach which embraces the preferences, goals and choices of the consumers we serve. We are happy to discuss and provide support with any concerns or needs that you may have.

Grafton accepts various funding sources and can support you in securing funding for ABA services where it does not exist already.
